I’ve been thinking about relationships the last few days a lot. It’s inevitable that some hurts and pains, bumps and bruises are going to occur. How do we handle it when someone let’s us down? How do we handle it when we let the other person down? When others let us down, we have to move in close and renew, reaffirm, and restore them. We can’t abandon them when they need us the most! On the other hand what do we do when we’re the offending party? We have to own up to our mistakes. We should make any wrongs right. This is all a part of God’s plan for his people. The giving and receiving of GRACE. It’s about FORGIVENESS. It’s about FORGETTING. It’s about letting the past GO! Who do you need to extend a little grace to? Who in your life could use a friend today, a real friend. Not a fair weather fellow, but a diehard ride or die friend? Be at peace today.
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
